Vendetta is a multiplatform title, with clients concurrently developed and maintained for multiple operating systems. At present, the intended release platforms include Windows, MacOS X, and Linux (x86). Specific system requirements will be published at release. At present, a fast PIII/Athlon or equivalent G4 with a 32mb T&L-accelerated (Geforce1 class) videocard can be expected as a baseline.

Vendetta is intended to be used with DirectX on Windows, and OpenGL on MacOS X and Linux. The game is designed to be playable over a 56k modem internet connection.

For the "recommended" platform, Vendetta can be expected to scale to take advantage of the latest DirectX 9 hardware available at the time of release. More bandwidth intensive features (streaming radio, voice chat) may also be available to those users with broadband (DSL/cable/etc) internet connectivity.
